Digital Photo Frequently Asked Questions Why do you offer digital photos? Is it legal for me to make prints with the digital image?
A digital photo is the actual .jpg that the camera captured. You can save the image to your computer and use it for a background or screensaver or even email it to friends. You can even have the picture printed on your home printer or at a lab of your choice. You can add the photo to a t-shirt or calendar. Once you get the image, the sky is the limit.
Why do you offer digital photos?
After each race we always have people request a digital photo. We thought we would make it available to anyone interested.
Is it legal for me to make prints with the digital image? Yes, it is legal. When we send you the digital image, you are allowed to use it anyway you like, with the exception of resell. You can not sell the image or anything that has the image on it. For instance, your local hero ran the race, you bought the digital image and made a thousand t-shirts and sold them. That would be illegal since we own the copyright to the image.
